PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of the faculty, staff and administration of CCC Heep Woh College, it is my great pleasure to welcome you and introduce a school with a fine heritage and a noble vision of education.
By God’s grace, we celebrate our school's 50th anniversary over these two academic years. On our school’s 50th anniversary, we should remember all the blessings the Lord has given us and express our heartfelt gratitude to Him. Moreover, we should be reminded of God’s original purpose for our school — God not only likes us to receive blessings but also share blessings with others.
When we look back at the history of the Heep Woh mother school, Guangzhou XieHe Middle School, since its founding in 1911, we witness the selfless sacrifice of our committed forebears, missionaries and educators who have cared so much for the holistic development of children and who have had great and splendid expectations of our students. The founders of our mother school established Heep Woh to focus on the teaching of virtue, concern for other people, cooperation with others and serving the community to bring harmony and unity to society. We have been building on that tradition ever since. Heep Woh College believes that each of our students is unique and precious because they are all children of God. We seek to provide the best opportunities for the formation of values and attitudes in addition to the development of skills and competencies through the diverse learning opportunities and programmes provided to our students. We are committed to building a positive and caring environment for nurturing students into well-rounded individuals with good academic and non-academic performance, as well as good personal qualities. In particular, students are expected to develop a healthy self-concept and commit to pursuing excellence spiritually, intellectually, socially and physically by acquiring Christian morality to establish a spirit of serving others in service to the holy duty of helping Heep Woh become a learning community. Heep Woh is a prestigious school that promotes the sound all-round development of our students and a strong caring culture.
